This week we solidified our idea and decided to go with the second part of our initial game. We worked on deciding what
kind of room and what kind of spell we should use. We have decided in the first step of our game that we would mainly focus
on the aesthetics of the environment. Moreover, we have also started looking at various assets in the Unity Asset Store which
might be useful to us. GitHub repositories for the project has been initialized along with the creation of a blog website.
Progress
So Far, We solidify our idea and decided to go with the second part of our initial game. We configured Unity on our
local laptop and we started installing basic environment in the unity to see how it works.
Idea
The game starts with a player trapped in a room. The motive of the player is to survive in that room by taking the
specific color magic spells and at the same time avoiding other colors spells. The player has to survive in the room for three minutes and he would be given three lives. So if a player gets hit by
the spell of other colors, his one life would be taken and if that happens three times, the player will die. As the game progresses, the speed at which the spells are coming will increase.
Next Steps
We will focus on creating an environment and finalizing it. At the same time we will decide the spell structure. Basic
goal would be to create an initial environment and if that works out, we will focus on the physics behind the spell’s
movement.
